The 4” Big BallerZ from Z-Man is a pintail softbait with a ribbed body and a ball at the tail end. Unlike a no-action lure, the ball at the end and the wedge-shaped notches in the belly cause the Big BallerZ to start moving naturally when taut, perfectly imitating a prey fish. The Big Ballerz is designed primarily for fishing on a jig head or as a soft jerk, but it can be fished just as well as a trailer on chatterbaits or with various finesse rigs for predators such as perch, zander, pike and black bass. To ensure that the soft lure can be offered weedless on the WideGap hook, a small slit has been incorporated on the belly and back.
