The 4" EZ TubeZ from Z-Man is a classic fringed lure with a hollow body, designed for modern predator fishing. Thanks to the unique, extremely stretchy ElaZtech® material, you can easily pull the lure over an internal jig head without damaging it – a huge advantage. What sets it apart are the slightly buoyant tentacles, which rise seductively off the bottom and entice even passive predators such as perch and zander.

Classic on a Tubejig
Mount the lure onto a suitable tube jig head and work it along the bottom with short dragging motions. But when worked with sharp, jerky movements through mid-water, the tube also develops a superb darting action.

On a Drop-Shot Rig
The drop-shot rig is unbeatable, particularly during the colder months or when there’s heavy fishing pressure. The EZ TubeZ hovers weightlessly above the bottom and can be animated with the gentlest of twitches, which wins over even the most wary predators.

What’s so special about the lure’s action?
What makes it special is the combination of two actions. When paused on the bottom, the buoyant fringes stand upright and float, rather than lying flat. This perfectly mimics a small crab in a defensive posture – an irresistible lure! If, on the other hand, you retrieve the lure with a jerky action, it breaks out uncontrollably to the side and displays an aggressive ‘darting action’.

Which colour should I choose?
For clear water and cautious fish, natural colourways such as ‘Green Pumpkin’ or ‘Canada Craw’ are ideal, as they perfectly mimic real prey. In murky water or if you want to create a strong visual stimulus, more eye-catching colours such as ‘The Deal’ are often more effective.
