The 2" Shad Impact (approx. 5 cm) from Keitech is a small pintail lure and a surefire success when predators are feeding heavily on newly hatched fry. It mimics small prey fish so perfectly that even experienced fish can’t resist it. Its strength lies in its versatility: Whether jerked as a soft jerkbait, worked through the water on a dart jig, or presented subtly on a drop shot rig. Combined with its strong squid scent, it’s a real weapon for targeted fishing for bass and trout!

    On a pointed dart jig, the Shad Impact shoots from side to side with short, hard jerks. This aggressive, panicked escape movement is ideal for hunting bass.
  • On a Dropshot
    With light wrist flicks, you can make the Shad Impact quiver on the spot. This technique is unbeatable when the fish are sluggish and you need to keep the lure in a hot spot for a long time.

    It’s an absolute success bait for bass and trout. But chub and asp also find this small lure hard to resist, especially when subtle fishing techniques are required.

    We recommend sizes 6 to 4 for fishing with a jig head. If you want to fish it as a soft jerkbait or on another finesse rig, offset hooks in sizes 8 to 6 are the perfect choice.
