Product description

The 2.6" Flex Chunk Small from Keitech is a versatile trailer specifically designed for this purpose. Its particular strength lies in its ultra-soft plastic compound and large legs, which respond with lively movements to even the slightest tug or the gentlest current. This makes it the perfect complement to rubber jigs, chatterbaits, or finesse rigs.

Advantages

  • Extremely lively action
The very soft plastic compound and flexible claws ensure a natural action. Even during pauses, when the lure is resting on the bottom, the claws move seductively, tempting even the most suspicious predators to strike.
  • Distinctive imitation
The shape and movement perfectly mimic a small crayfish or other prey defending itself on the bottom. This makes the Flex Chunk an irresistible lure for perch and other species.
  • Strong squid scent
The lure is intensely infused with a proven squid scent. This additional attractant ensures that fish hold the lure in their mouths longer and significantly increases the hook-up rate.

Lure techniques

  • As a trailer on a rubber jig
Mount the Flex Chunk as a trailer on a compact rubber jig like the Keitech Guard Spin Jig. Whether jigged, dragged, or twitched along the bottom, it proves highly effective.
  • On a chatterbait
The Flex Chunk adds extra vibrations to your chatterbait. The claws move seductively with every retrieve, greatly increasing its attractiveness.
  • On a finesse rig
On a light Texas or Carolina rig, the Flex Chunk can be presented extremely slowly and inconspicuously. Ideal for tough days when the fish are passive and only respond to subtle lure presentation.

FAQ

  1. Which target fish is the 2.6" Flex Chunk Small best suited for?
The Flex Chunk is a true success lure for perch and the like. But even larger trout or chub can be outwitted excellently with this crayfish imitation.

  2. Which color should I choose?
The color choice depends heavily on the water and conditions. In clear water and on days with high fishing pressure, natural colors like ā€œGreen Pumpkinā€ or ā€œWatermelonā€ are often unbeatable. In murky water or low light, however, more striking colors like ā€˜Blackā€™ or ā€œJune Bugā€ can provide the necessary contrast and result in more bites.

  3. What makes the Flex Chunk special?
Its uniqueness lies in the extremely soft plastic compound, which gives the lure an incredibly lively and natural action even with the slightest movement. Combined with the strong squid scent, this makes it an irresistible trailer that significantly improves the catch rate of jigs and rigs.
