The ECOGEAR PX 45F is an exceptional topwater lure that imitates a small, fleeing shrimp. Thanks to its special design—featuring a small indentation at the front and fine silicone strands on the rear treble hook—it creates a unique action right at the water’s surface. This lure was designed to entice even the most wary predatory fish to strike with a combination of soft plopping sounds and a subtle “walk-the-dog” action!

    In clear water and on sunny days, natural, muted colors are often unbeatable, as they perfectly mimic real shrimp. In murkier water, at dawn or dusk, or when the fish are aggressive, you should opt for more eye-catching colors to create a stronger visual stimulus.
     
  3. Why is rigging without a snap or swivel so important?
    The PX 45F is a very light and finely balanced lure. A snap or swivel would increase the weight at the front and disrupt—or even completely prevent—its unique “walk-the-dog” action. For best performance, always tie the lure directly to a thin leader!
