Product description

The Uni from Yamamoto is a bait like nothing the fish have seen before. It looks a little like a sea urchin and is made of Yamamoto's own very durable TPE formula. Appendages with bulbed ends sit around a small inner ball of 1,3 cm. They catch the water and quiver on the fall and with every twitch of the rod tip. The Uni is buoyant and is therefore very well suited for larger perch, zander and black bass. The Uni is best fished on the Neko rig, drop-shot rig, Free Rig or lightly weighted on the wacky rig.

Advantages

  • New profile
The shape and action of the Uni clearly differ from common soft plastics. This can make the difference when the fish have already seen a lot.
  • Buoyant
On the rig, the Uni stands above the bottom and stays in the fish's field of view, even when you barely move it.
  • Very durable
The flexible TPE formula holds up fish after fish.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. What is the Uni made of?
Of TPE, a thermoplastic elastomer. Yamamoto uses its own formula that is both flexible and durable.
    Ā
  2. Which hook fits the Uni?
A single hook in size 1 - 1/0, ideally with a weed guard, whether on the Neko rig, drop-shot rig, Free Rig or wacky rig.
    Ā
  3. How big is the Uni?
The inner ball measures 1,3 cm. The appendages come on top of that and enlarge the bait's profile.
