The 4.5" Swing Impact from Keitech, measuring 11.5 cm in length, is a brilliant blend of a classic shad and a worm. Thanks to its slender shape and ideal size, it’s particularly well-suited for targeting zander. Its ribbed body and specially shaped shovel tail create an incredibly natural swimming action with strong vibrations that don’t fade even at the slowest retrieve. Thanks to an intense squid scent and the two-tone injection-molding process, the Swing Impact attracts predatory fish like zander and large perch!

Lure Techniques

  • Classic on a jig head
    Simply cast out and retrieve steadily or work it in short, jerky motions along the bottom (jigging). This technique is extremely simple and almost always catches fish!
  • On a Texas or Carolina rig
    Ideal for fishing in snag-prone areas. The lure can be worked through the water weed-free to surprise fish right in their hiding spots.
  • As a trailer on a chatterbait or spinnerbait
    When rigged on a chatterbait or spinnerbait, the Swing Impact provides additional vibrations and an even more attractive lure action.

  1. Which target fish is the Swing Impact particularly suited for?
    The 4.5" Swing Impact is a true all-rounder! Its main target fish are clearly zander, bass, and pike. Zander in particular love its slender shape and subtle action. But large trout, black bass, or even catfish can also be outwitted with it.
     
  2. What is the difference between this and the Fat Swing Impact?
    The main difference lies in the body profile. The Fat Swing Impact has a significantly thicker, more bulbous body and therefore displaces more water. This creates a stronger, rolling action. The standard Swing Impact is slimmer and runs more subtly—perfect when the fish are cautious or you’re specifically targeting zander.
     
  3. Which color is right for my fishing spot?
    For clear water and sunny days, we recommend natural patterns like Ayu or Electric Shad. In murky water or low light, high-contrast colors like Chartreuse or Fire Tiger are often the better choice to make the lure more visible to predatory fish.
