Product description

The EVO Swim Jig from Z-Man transfers the shape and strengths of the ChatterBait Elite Evo to a high-quality swim jig. Its slim head in the typical EVO shape slips cleanly through weeds and past obstacles and runs straight and stable at any retrieve speed. A molded Split Grip and a Wirekeeper hold trailers made of ElaZtech such as the Goat, Diezel MinnowZ and Octane MinnowZ, but also standard soft plastics firmly. The strong, black nickel NeedlePoint hook in size 5/0 ensures a secure hookset and has enough power to pull big perch, pike and zander out of weeds and obstacles. A medium-strength fiber weedguard protects the hook without hindering penetration into the fish's mouth. The wire-tied skirt made of 100 % silicone lasts a long time, while hand-painted colors and lifelike 3D eyes create a realistic look in the water. The weight is printed on the underside of the head, so you can quickly find the right jig in your box.

Advantages

  • Slips cleanly through weeds

  • Stable running
Whether you retrieve slowly or fast, the EVO Swim Jig runs straight and stable.
  • Trailer stays in position
Split Grip and Wirekeeper hold trailers made of ElaZtech and standard soft plastics firmly.
  • Hook for big fish
The strong NeedlePoint hook in size 5/0 grips securely on the hookset and holds up even to big predators.
  • Weight at a glance
The weight printed on the underside of the head saves you searching in your box.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. Which trailer fits the EVO Swim Jig?
Z-Man recommends trailers made of ElaZtech such as the 3.75" Goat and the 4" Diezel MinnowZ. Split Grip and Wirekeeper also hold other soft plastics securely.

  2. How strong is the weedguard?
The weedguard is medium-strength. It protects the hook from snagging in weeds and still gives way easily on the hookset, so the hook penetrates reliably.

  3. Which fish is it for and in which weights is it available?
The EVO Swim Jig is made for big perch, black bass, pike and zander. It is available in 7g and 10.5g, each in eight colors.
