With the 2.5" Yamatanuki from Yamamoto, you get the well-known Heavy Soft Plastic bait in the small version. The Yamatanuki comes from Japan, where it is very popular in the Yamamoto range, and started the trend towards soft plastics made of heavy, heavily salted material there. Its custom, heavy plastic formula is made to be fished without extra weight. Despite its 6,5 cm, it casts far and glides quickly to the bottom. You can flip it, cast it precisely to cover or slowly drag it along the bottom. It is also at home on the Neko rig, drop-shot rig, Free Rig and Carolina rig. The compact size is a particularly good match for perch, zander and black bass when the fish are biting cautiously.
