Product description

The 4.75" Dagger Minnow from Yamamoto, designed by Tucker Smith, combines finesse and reaction in one bait. Its symmetrical profile and heavily salted belly produce an even glide on a slow retrieve with a natural rocking from one side to the other. Once the fish know this action, switch to fast twitches: the Dagger Minnow then rolls so fast that its silhouette keeps flashing under water. Small raised bulbs on the pintail add a slight flutter. Yamamoto makes it from a tougher plastic formula that still keeps the typical high salt content. You fish it as a soft jerkbait, for mid-strolling, on the drop-shot rig, Spine Rig or Cheburashka rig and for vertical fishing. With a length of 11,8 cm, it is a bait for perch, zander, pike and black bass.

Advantages

  • Two actions
On a slow retrieve it glides and rocks naturally, twitched fast it rolls at high speed.
  • Lively action on the pintail
Raised bulbs on the tail create a slight flutter behind the bait.
  • Durable with lots of salt
The tougher plastic formula lasts longer and still has the high salt content Yamamoto is known for.
  • Something new for the fish
When the fish know the usual minnow baits, the Dagger Minnow shows them a different action.
