The 4.75" Dagger Minnow from Yamamoto, designed by Tucker Smith, combines finesse and reaction in one bait. Its symmetrical profile and heavily salted belly produce an even glide on a slow retrieve with a natural rocking from one side to the other. Once the fish know this action, switch to fast twitches: the Dagger Minnow then rolls so fast that its silhouette keeps flashing under water. Small raised bulbs on the pintail add a slight flutter. Yamamoto makes it from a tougher plastic formula that still keeps the typical high salt content. You fish it as a soft jerkbait, for mid-strolling, on the drop-shot rig, Spine Rig or Cheburashka rig and for vertical fishing. With a length of 11,8 cm, it is a bait for perch, zander, pike and black bass.
