The CAMO Rod Sleeve CAST rod protectors are suitable for the protection of baitcast rods. They protect the rod blank and guides from damage and scratches. The rod sleeves also prevent mounted rods from snagging on each other or the line or leader from getting caught on the boat or in vegetation. The woven material allows moisture to evaporate easily. The opening is sewn and also has an adjustable holder that reliably holds the rod guard in position. A very useful accessory for one-piece rods that we wouldn't want to be without!

The right rod sleeve length always depends on the length of the rod's hand section and it is advisable to measure the length of the rod blank to be protected in order to determine the right rod sleeve size. Compared to spinning rods, the hand section of baitcast rods is generally shorter, usually around 40 cm long. However, this can vary depending on the rod.

  • Size 75 cm - Recommended for two-piece baitcast rods up to 2.40 m in length
  • Size 140 cm - Recommended for one-piece baitcast rods up to 1.80 m in length
  • Size 160 cm - Recommended for one-piece baitcast rods up to 2.00 m in length
  • Size 180 cm - Recommended for one-piece baitcast rods up to 2.20 m in length
  • Size 200 cm - Recommended for one-piece baitcast rods up to 2.40 m in length
  • Size 240 cm - Recommended for one-piece baitcast rods up to 2.80 m in length
