Use & lure presentation
Texas Rig: Bullet weight (free or slightly stopped), optional bead, offset hook. Strong in weeds, wood and stone fields – low snagging with direct bottom contact. Short twitches, small hops, controlled pauses.
Carolina Rig: Bullet weight & bead in front of the swivel, the lure follows at a distance on a separate leader – ideal for searching areas and for sluggish predators. Longer drag/jerk sequences, pauses, subtle lifting movements.
Areas of application
- Weeds, wood and rock fields (low snagging with offset rigging)
- Ledges, plateaus – when fishing close to the bottom is required
- Phases with cautious predators (teasing via bead click & pauses in lure presentation)
